Calendar: Walpole at Work - Then & Now

From its beginning Walpole has been a
farming community. It is surmised that no store of any stature existed
in Walpole in its early days, judging by ledger records from a Northfield,
MA store showing accounts in the names of 16 Walpole men.
This calendar is the ninth in the
series produced by the Walpole Historical Society and uses materials from
the archives. It is available at Murry's, Galloway Real Estate, the
Sunoco station, and
Real-to-Reel. The calendars are $7 each or $6 each when you buy three
or more. Copies of earlier calendars are available for $5 each at the
Gift Shop in the Museum or by mail at the adress at the bottom of this page.
